March 15: Join in Climate and Environment Advocacy Day at the Capitol

  On March 15 from 9 to 10:30 am , please come to the State Capitol in Hartford to advocate for strong and meaningful legislation to protect our environment and keep Connecticut's climate promise! You'll hear from speakers about bills before the legislature on topics including climate, clean energy, pollution reduction, toxics, and waste reduction. The organizers will have materials for you to share with your legislators following the program. Once you have RSVP 'd, please reach out to your own legislators ( look them up here ), invite them to the program, and ask to meet with them after the program ends at 10:30 am. Don't be shy!  It'll be fun.  And the organizers will be glad to put you at ease. There's a big hearing tomorrow for the CT General Assembly's Environment Committee on some kick@%$ bills for climate!  We currently count 798 occurrences of "support" and 267 occurrences of "oppose."
